No. Our bilingual programme is designed for children of all backgrounds — whether they speak Mandarin, English, or neither at home. Our teachers use visual aids, gestures, and contextual cues to help every child gradually build understanding in both languages.

Our teacher-to-child ratios are: 1:3 for infant, 1:5 for toddler, 1:8 for playgroup, 1:10 for nursery, 1:12 for K1, and 1:15 for K2. These are lower (better) than ECDA's minimum requirements, ensuring every child receives more individualised attention.

Yes. We accept babies from 2 months old in our dedicated Infant Care programme. Our infant care educators hold ECDA certifications and are trained in infant CPR, feeding, and developmental milestones. Each baby has an individualised care plan tailored to their routine and needs. Our monthly fees are: Infant Care — Full day S$2,080, Half day S$1,680; Child Care — Full day S$1,580, Half day S$1,280. A one-time S$300 registration fee, one month's refundable deposit and mandatory S$10 annual child accident insurance apply. Uniforms are purchased separately; optional transport, excursions and selected family activities are quoted separately. Monthly fees are GST-exempt. Eligible families may apply for government subsidies.

Singapore Citizen children are eligible for the Basic Subsidy (S$600/month for infant care, S$300/month for childcare). Eligible families may also receive an Additional Subsidy of up to S$710/month for infant care or S$467/month for childcare. Families with gross monthly household income of S$12,000 or below may qualify; use the official ECDA subsidy page to estimate your amount.

Yes. MapleBear Jurong West is an ECDA-registered centre and accepts CDA (Child Development Account) payments. We can help you set up the CDA deduction process during enrollment. Read our CDA guide →

Yes. We offer monthly payment plans as the default. Some families may also arrange quarterly or annual payments. Please speak with our admissions team for available options.

We explain required and optional charges before enrolment. In addition to monthly fees, families pay a one-time S$300 registration fee, one month's refundable deposit and S$10 annual child accident insurance. Uniforms are purchased separately. Optional transport, excursions and selected family activities are charged separately when applicable.

No. The S$300 registration fee is a one-time payment when your child first enrolls. It is not charged again in subsequent years — even if your child progresses from Infant Care to Playgroup to Nursery to Kindergarten within our centre.

We operate from 7:00am to 7:00pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Half-day kindergarten sessions are also available — please check with our admissions team for specific timetables.

We accept infants from 2 months old. Toddler starts at 18 months, Playgroup at 2 years, Nursery at 3 years, and Kindergarten 1 at 4 years.

We accept enrollments year-round, subject to availability. There is no need to wait for January — you can start your child as soon as a spot is available and you're ready.

Prepare the centre registration form, the applicable ECDA enrolment/subsidy form, the child's birth certificate, medical and immunisation record, one recent child photo, and identification for parents, guardians and authorised collection persons. Income or employment documents may be required for subsidy assessment. The centre will confirm the current checklist for your family's situation.

If you're a Singapore citizen, you can apply for the Basic and Additional Subsidies through the ECDA subsidy portal. Our admissions team can guide you through the application process during registration. You'll need to provide proof of employment and household income. Subsidies are credited directly to reduce your monthly fees.

Yes. We welcome children of all citizenships — Singapore citizens, Permanent Residents, and foreign nationals (with appropriate passes such as Dependant's Pass or Student Pass). Note that government subsidies like CDA are only available for Singapore citizen children.

Yes. Many families start with a half-day programme and transition to full-day as their child adjusts or when their work situation changes. Simply inform our admissions team at least one month in advance so we can adjust the enrolment and subsidy arrangements accordingly.

We require one full calendar month's written notice, submitted no later than the first day of the final month of attendance. The deposit is refundable when the notice requirement and withdrawal documentation are completed.

Children with a temperature of 37.5°C or symptoms of infectious illness should stay home. After a fever, children should be fever-free for at least 24 hours before returning. If a child becomes unwell at school, the centre will supervise and isolate the child while contacting a parent or authorised emergency contact.

Our campus is a two-storey bungalow terrace with spacious, naturally lit classrooms, specially designed learning corners, a spacious backyard with greenery, an outdoor playground, and an in-house kitchen. See more about our campus →

Yes. We have CCTV monitoring throughout the campus, secure entry access, and controlled pick-up procedures. Only authorised adults registered by parents can collect children.

Yes. Full-day care includes breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea; morning half-day care includes breakfast and lunch, while afternoon half-day care includes lunch and afternoon tea. Parents must disclose food allergies, religious restrictions and other dietary needs before the child starts. Severe allergies should be discussed with the centre so an appropriate care procedure can be agreed. Outside food is discouraged unless arranged in advance.

Yes. We hold a valid licence from the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA), Singapore's national regulatory authority for preschools. We meet all safety standards including fire safety compliance, first aid equipment, and regular health inspections. Our campus undergoes routine ECDA audits to maintain our licence.

The centre operates one 10-seat school bus for eligible western Singapore routes within roughly 30–45 minutes of the school. A school teacher accompanies children. We are located at 50 Yunnan Drive 1, Singapore 638270, in the Jurong West area near NTU. Our campus is easily accessible from Boon Lay, Pioneer, and the surrounding western neighbourhoods.

Short roadside stops are generally possible during drop-off and pickup, subject to local traffic and parking rules. The centre has one temporary on-site space that may be used for rainy-day drop-off when available; parking is not guaranteed.
